On windows, press Ctrl + Alt + F11 when the game is on full screen to go to full screen without the preservation of the aspect ratio. There are 3 different full screen modes you can switch between with Ctrl + Alt + F11:
1) Stretch, preserve game's aspect ratio. 2) Stretch, don't preserve game's aspect ratio, instead match the aspect ratio of the screen. 3) No stretching, preserve game's aspect ratio.
