Well if there is something i have learned with this game, and every game else too. Is to always put the shadows at lowest or off since they really draw performance. Textures can at many times be at highest or medium since they only draw memory space. But everything concerning lightning should be as low as possible. Try having 1024x768 since you get a pretty good screen resolution and still it is not too heavy. Effects should be low and have dead bodies to medium since after a while after much killing this can be hard for the graphics card.
