Hi there. I was smiling all over when I got the news there was a new
mod which was much more stable and faster than all previous versions,
and in fact it didn't require any modification to ini files
whatsoever, which I guess got simpler with this driver's new
architecture.

Ok, I'm in Windows 7 x86 RTM with the latest stock drivers, so I
uninstalled them, booted in safe mode, removed any leftovers and
installed the modded there too so windows wouldn't install any base
drivers it might have come with. Everything installed fine so I
rebooted to normal logon but the winsat test shows up during logon and
takes longer than any other driver in vista or 7, after the test was
complete the screen kept blacking out and switching between basic and
aero, and even worse was the fact that during these transitions the
computer freezed for a few seconds, with me having a window of
movement of less than half the duration of the freezes.

I really want to use this mod since most people have gained
performance/stability, and I do notice the stock vista drivers to be
much more stable than 7's, with full screen apps often flickering.

By the way, my chipset is 945GMS.

Just another thing, is gmabooster really worth the hassle? I only have
2gb of ram and I kind of need every mb I can get and I'm not so eager
to get 2 dimms of 2gb since my cpu is only x86 and getting only 1gb
more isn't really profitable for me.

Any help here is greatly appreciated :)
