lol, I think I found some bad news guys. I've been trying to find out why some of my friends watched the replays and complaint that it even lag a little bit on High with some cards and the integrated cards like us take on Medium with big drop of FPS http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/44297/Starcraft-2-Technology-Dissected
Blizzard is fully aware that in a real-time strategy game like Starcraft 2, the game mechanics and the simultaneous visualization of up to 500 units cause a high basic load for the CPU. Therefore they try to primarily stress the graphics card and not the processor with visual calculation. They especially kept an eye out for the minimization of the so called Batch-Count. Those geometry groups have to be calculated by the CPU one after another and thus can slow the system down if there are too many of them. So, it doesn't use the CPU much but the graphic card :( On Feb 19, 6:23 pm, Espionage724 <[email protected]> wrote: > 10-15 for me but then again my 1.6Ghz core solo cpu was under min > requirements lol > > > > On Fri, Feb 19, 2010 at 8:54 PM, THEfog . <[email protected]> wrote: > > Looks like a pretty cool sequel indeed. > > > THEfog > > > On 20/02/2010 11:48 AM, "Botanika" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > thanks, it looks pretty good, :D > > > what was the average fps ? > > > and zergs ftw ! > > > -- > > > INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS > > > -- > > INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS > > -- > Espionage724 Has A Signature... -- INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
