well, if larabee succeed, it will be the first economy, low price discrete card available.... although ATI's card series price drops fast these days...and perform better too, for example..
ATI 4870, with Shader Model 4.1, DX 10.1 support and a 1gb GDDR5.. for only RM500+....in US$, it is 142+ dollar...lol, it's kinda pocket friendly, even the 4570 model just cost 50 dollar nowadays and perform almost 50x better than the current intel 4500 series, and Intel HD graphics....
