Im going to to specifically for my case, i dont use OC. But i use a program which changes the throttle, multiplier and power consumption of the cpu, i use it to decrease the use of the resources in my 945, as i dont use it for gaming, just for backup pc and to make the modded drivers for you. Ok so as i can use RIGHTMARK utility to decrease the power consuption and therefore the heat (under 50 Cº) it could also be used to increse the performance. I had the experience using RIGHTMARK, and it increased the performance while decrease the avarage tempetature. In the twitpic site there u could find the setup -- INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
