Pretty much to reason that a 32 bit machine can't use more than 3.25GB of
ram is because it runs out of assignable address for the RAM modules, and if
it can't assign more address than it cannot be used because the RAM registar
chip will not allow duplicate addresses due to corruption plausiblilties.
Even with the physical address extension limit for windows it will not use
the other 750mb of your 4GB, 64bit has no such problem because it can assign
more RAM due to its extended bit width and can assign up to something like 4
petabytes and 256 terabytes lol but if RAM isn't being used it just sits
there and has no function other than to complete the ciruit

Get more RAM, even if today 4 GB is more than enough but if you want a pc
that can stand out in the long run and be upgradeable or able to play more
demanding games than 8 GB is sure nice to sit on from start. Or you could
have 4 GB and make sure you can upgrade higher later on!!
