Hey All, First off, I wanted to say this site is great. I have a netbook for my daily 4 hour commutes, so this site is a life saver.
No, I have an Asus eee901 with the Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor. I have 2 gigs of ram, with the Intel 945GME processor. I am running Windows XP. I am trying to get MGS2 to work. I am getting the dreaded black screen like everyone else. However, everything I see in regards to the black screen is in regards to Vista or Windows 7. So I was wondering what can be done on XP to get this game running. I have followed the thread to get it running on Windows 7, hoping it will work on XP with no luck. So I just wanted to see if there was something I was missing. I also tried Swiftshader and 3DA. So I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Also, will my netbook be able to run the game?
