I have no luck with setting the Shader on Medium nor the Shadow, shader on Low look quite bad really... My specs: Windows 7 32 bit + Alpha MD 32 bit (a desktop) CPU: Pentium IV 3.0 GHz RAM: 1.5 GB GMA 950 Res: 1440*900. (Well, I can't get to Medium at any res so I play dull screen now xD)
My attemps so far: - Win 7 + alpha and v1.1, use the addgame.reg (triple one and single one) for SC2.exe. I checked the registry and the key was there (there were 2 ControlSet folder btw, no result on the 001 one so I added keys to both) - Reinstalling drivers by "Delete drivers software" as instrution - Use gamebooster to turn off every application, including antivirus and firewall. - Tried enabling in the original SC.exe and in game The game just says my system doesn't support High shader or higher, not Medium ! So is it something I did wrong or my pc just reach it's limit ? I can see the single 3.0 cpu is not very powerful :( Now I'm playing with all low except Texture,Effects,unit detail on Medium, it runs only about 9-10 fps and drop to 5-6 fps in battle.
