Lol, my console is from 2007 (its the model above xeon, but below jasper, falcon maybe).
First, i decided to preserve the warranty sticker (hairdryer + sharp knife) (did this just in case the 360 were to RRoD for whatever reason) Then I got a bunch of copper pennies (pennies were made of pure copper before a certain year, idk what year though) and some thermal paste (had some OCZ Freeze left over) and placed a penny to every chip on the top of the 360 mobo.
