Interesting that the post glow effect is still there. The post glow effect is when you will see a double glow, kind of like a duplicate image on your screen. A few years ago I did lots of searches for available solutions on the XP but none seems to be available. I even tried tweaking the various game settings. In one of my searches, I remembered a forum member once said he didn't have the problem in Windows Vista, but that was only hearsay.
One thing you can try is to activate SwTnL using the addgame.reg on Windows 7. Previously with the 3DA in XP, the game crashed on startup. Good Luck.
