Sorry to tell you but your specs are really low, if there is a possibility for you to use software TnL that might improve it somewhat, but since you CPU is really weak i hardly think there would be any improvement. Im not a 945GM guy myself but with your specs i believe there might be very hard for you to get any playable fps, if possible try removing anything that have to do with light and shadows of you haven't already.
Not meaning to brag but on my x3100 i have really good fps on a mixed medium to low settings, only thing high is textures. But before the MD or intel's new stock drivers i could hardly play it at all, even on low and i have a dual-core instead. So that makes me draw that conclusion.
