check also speed in pcsx2 (latest version) with all the speed hacks enabled I reach 50 fps on ps2 system bios and jack & Daxter/ Kingdom Hearts 2 are playable and quite smooth ( regarding KH I only have tried the tutorial (so no battles) but it seemed to be quite stable so I hope battles are fast too)
