maybe a pci or a space for a dock? I think I know what your talking about, and if I'm right then you might be able to throw a pci card in it somehow? Idk, i never looked too much into it since i only had 1 computer that had it from 1999 lol.
And since I'm talking about that laptop, the HDD inside of it had some real thin HDD platters and when my laptop fell a short distance (like maybe 3 inches) it broke em like glass lol.
