Well, Quick answer :P I have Alpha 1 and the games which not used to run on my PC runs perfectly (no low fps), but sadly, some games which used to run on my PC don't :(
Still, I would recommend Alpha 1 (lol, I can play COD:WOW in it with just a bit(bright light) lagging -no lagging in 800x600 mode) Hope it helps.
