I inquired about this in ancient times on this forum in relation to apparent
VSYNC tearing in Age of Mythology, check it out if you can find it I'm not
sure if a solution was posted.

Hey,

I have some questions, can anybody please answer them?

"If a demo is listed below, 90% chance the full version of the game
will give equal results"

Scrap the 90% :P. Intel G 945 (or intel gma 950 series) comes with
Pixel Shader 2.0. It is true that I could run Ashes 2009 demo on my PC
(which has Pixel Shader 2.0 and Intel G945 Desktop controller), but
now, even with modded drivers, I can't run Ashes 09 (full) on my
machine because it requires Pixel Shader 3.

One more thing, When I try to run it with software vertex, it runs
till past the codemasters screen and when the loading begins, all goes
black. Still, I can select things and hear sounds, but no screen for
me. Any ideas?

2.) Okay, here's the thing. I have a 15" CRT monitor with maximum 60hz
support. I require VSYNC in most games to run, because it makes sure
that the games run within 60hz limit. In some games, however, I can't
get them to run in 60hz. Examples include:

-Harry Potter half blood prince ( I can hear sounds and select, but
screen -"OVER RANGE" for me)
-Empire Earth (I want to play this game badly, same result as above)

One weird result:
-Jetfighter V homeland protector : I used to run this game in Windows
XP. I could play this game, but since I've bought Windows 7, It gives
me same results and games listed above!

Any program to force VSYNC or any configuration files for these games,
guys?

Thanks :)
