There is a really weird thing happening with some games, most of them being opengl based. I set the resolution desired and that works fine, but when I set the bit depth to 32 it claims to be at 32 bits but there is clear dithering, typical of 16 bits. >From memory I recall it happening to Return to Castle Wolfenstein (which is opengl) and X-Men Legends II, which I'm playing now and think it is direct3d. It also happened with Age of Mythology, a microsoft game hence direct3d, the settings only showed 16 bits which is absurd, making me have to change an ini file to set the correct bit depth. I've had this issue ever since I used vista, and now with 7 it continues to have. Any ideas of why this is happening and on how to solve it?
