A few hours ago I restarted my system and when opening 9xx SSF, Google just began cycling a constant loop, redirecting to somewhere. It seems to be happening with plenty of people during the last week, specially with firefox users, as chrome and safari users have no problem with that.
The solution proved to be simple but many sites with solutions only had it partially correct. Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Remove cookies individually Then search for google.groups and delete all entries beginning with google.groups.xxx There it is in a couple of steps.
