After looking so much about how to use the WARP software renderer in Windows 7, today I have managed to use it and I have been able to test it with CRYSIS (the only DX10 capable game that I have).
The program “ToMMTi Systems SSAA Tool” has an option to force the use of WARP for DX10, you only must be running Windows 7 and configure the file “config.txt” of the “ToMMTi Systems SSAA Tool” like this: [enabled settings] SETTING_FORCEWARP [disabled settings] S_ETTING_FORCEREF S_ETTING_LIMIT_FPS=30.0 S_ETTING_FORCE_SSAA=2.0 S_ETTING_TRIPPLE_BUFFER S_ETTING_VSYNC Put the path of the game you want to test in the file “games.txt” like this: D:\Program Files\Crysis\Bin32\crysis.exe This is an example, depends on your game. Then open the tool with “enable_SSAA_Tool32.exe” for x86 systems or “disable_SSAA_Tool.exe” for x64. This will execute the process of the program; if you want to close it, run “disable_SSAA_Tool.exe”. Remember that I am not the author of the program, I only share the discovery, if you want more information about the previous the steps, read the “ReadMe.txt” within the .rar file. And sorry for my bad english. xD -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
