So you used visual studio to write this code, hmmmmm.... that's probably why you cannot remove its dependency on the .net Framework 4.0. Have you tried recompiling it in C# Express studio, as far as I'm aware you can go all the way down to .net 2.0 on this Raw free version. The program itself sounds more ardous than complex so I don't see why it warrants a .net 4 requirement if you know what I mean, oh well lol thus the troubles of programming haha.
