You should lower the res to 800x600, your cpu is probably to blame, Atoms are weaker than Celerons, and even though some people reported better performance with alpha drivers on some scenarios, I'm having more performance with V1.x. There are a couple of areas where my fps drop to 10fps, but performance is expected to increase yet since the game was meant to run from first generation netbooks all the way to high end hardware.
