It's good that everyone takes in account that when PS 2.0 came out,
the war between nvidia and ati was still raging hard, and there were
made different PS2 modes, PS2a and PS2b, and none is better than the
other, just from different vendors. After nvidia 6000 generation and
ati first x generation, PS3 was implemented as well as a standardized
PS2 mode, which from that moment on was universal.
