I've never actually heard of the games called 'Hawx , Company of heros' I am admittedly primarily an RPG fan. Offliners most. Can't aim straight in a shooter to save my bum!!
But anything that has a linux dedicated server software component will run. I don't run hamachi, but my boxes are already running both Neorouter (http://www.neorouter.com) and Tinc (http://tinc-vpn.org/). Tinc is a shade of awesome and has an overheard in the kilobytes. But you need advanced networking, system knowledge to set it up. Neorouter is quite close to hamachi. But totally under your control, I'm running my own mediation server. So not at the mercy of any 3rd parties for its operation. I can create a 9xx user account for my mesh and share it openly in here for ppl to connect to if interested in using it for meshing? -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
