Alrighty then, the shared memory is just normal RAM controlled by DVMT (as we all know) and this is changed automatically, however the amount of dedicated VRAM is decided upon during production by the board manufacturer, this is truly dedicated RAM which is soldered unto the board and is directly connected to the GPU via high speed data buses, therefore it is impossible to increase Dedicated VRAM. So i dont know what is going on with the so called increase in Dedicated - are you sure it was 64MB before because otherwise it doesn't make sense. For performance to increase as well adds another dimension of complexity to this issue as they must be increasing shared RAM by force at all times which may be inducing your increased performance you have noted. Also you mentioned previously that it was bumped up to 192MB in the driver yet CPU-Z clearly shows 128MB where did you get that value from lol or was it just a typo. Also could you post your Dxdiag log so i can grab a look at your device properties and what windows is seeing?
