Yea as it was stated Rips aren't good at all lol, if anything it might be nice to test out a game before buying, but not recommended if your going to play and use it.
Images are the way to go, then you can patch it, and in some cases you might be able to get a min-image of the game (from gamecopyworld) and then play the game with 100% legit files. Some games can be fixed with a registry mod if you insist on a Rip, but it's still not recommended.
