well, that's confirmed a little bit of my curiosity... from the forum listed by kiki, (a very nice finding there bro ^^) i found that Acceleration.Level are for legacy support or software redraw support for some legacy apps... and the optimal value are 0 or the key doesnt exist at all..while value 5 give legacy support for redraw operation..hmm, not sure but that just theoratically and as said in the forum above...saying that, Sherry driver is in top notch setting where the key is absent...
still, more testing should be done to confirm it..i'll do some test on each level effect redraw performances after i got back home.. cheers ^^ On Wed, Sep 29, 2010 at 10:39 PM, Kiki <[email protected]> wrote: > ugh...so tempting...to mess around my laptop again... > is it for XP only? >,< > > ...but I'll prefer to just watch how it'll go atm > > anyway, I wonder if these are useful: > http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/showthread.php?t=77036 > > http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?s=e1dde7dd218a468474adf515959e0d89&showtopic=2790&st=0&p=18862&#entry18862 > > -- > 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS > -- Laptop: Acer Aspire Core Duo T2300E @ 1.67GHz Intel GMA 950 IGP Intel 945 Chipset 1GB RAM (512MB*2) Dual Channel DDR2 80GB standard PATA HDD Win7 Ultimate 32bit / Ubuntu 10.04 -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
