Don't worry harry, it's fairly simple :) First you open IGRM, then browse to the exe of the game you want to run, then select software. Usually this is the option you will use the most. You should open the game and see how it runs. If it doesn't run better, try unknown value, as it sometimes improves performance over software mode. Hardware mode is the default option, and selecting it does nothing as it is already activated.
