Using kaspersky is tricky, because you have kaspersky antivirus, kaspersky internet security and kaspersky pure. They use different scanning engines, and each year's version acts differently on the system. Honestly, I recommend either kaspersky internet security 2010 or kaspersky pure, that runs on 2011 engine. And just like an OS or a gpu driver, most security software has hidden options, so I also recommend people you to look into that.
