Yeah, just to think that bs unreal tournament stole its thunder, as painkiller's engine is great. But you're mixing things, heaven's got a hitman is the original, it had one expansion, then the following game, overdose, which wasn't nearly as good. When you say you played serious sam the first encounter, I imagine you're talking about the hd remake. I loved all serious sam games, both the original ones which still have technological feats that only rare hardware could render, and nowadays only with dx11 hardware were more people able to render it with common hardware. The remakes are quite nice, though playing both the original first encounter and the second encounter, both games connected through a specific mod that makes then a single storyline, it's just amazing. Serious sam 2 on the other hand, was the weakest of the bunch, too cartoony for my own taste, despite it always having that feeling, they kinda overdid it.
