well, the problem is the GPU, and not the CPU like u said, BUT our GMA depends mostly on CPU..so it is vital to know ur CPU... although 7 is the best OS here that have support, if u still wanna use XP, i recommend u get KinGPin's XP 1.2 driver...although, it is kinda missing somehow and the download link said the files is removed due to copyright :(
try and experiment 3Danalyze setting a bit and see which suits u best.
