hi friends, went to shop to checkout GT 240 ,its seems pretty good ,but the dealer also suggested me ATI 5670 512 mb ddr5,which seems slightly faster than gt240 and also priced less, but i noted that this card req pcie 2.1 also GT240 pcie 2.0 ,where as D945GCNL is pcie 1.0a or something ,
i read in net that the pcie is backward compatible like usb,but also have come across people with probs with this issue.(some say updating bios works ,but others say that it doesn't help) so will these card (PCIE2.1,2.0) be compatible with D945GCNL(PCIE1.0),or what should i do , if anyone has got 5670 running in their intel 945 board pls let me know. pls help!!! thnx in advance.
