yeah it true... i would say its related to your available ram/page file/cache size, a bug of the game or somehting... if others have had this problem im pretty sure its not about twaeking for performance... i wish i could do more for you but never played, and not planning to play the sims ever :D
all i know is that i saw in several forums they blame a patch or the game version -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
