I find it weird that dx8 games don't run, but there are some games that state hw t&l as mandatory, and won't run otherwise. COD4 doesn' run because of the lack of VS2.0 support, Nfs Prostreet is poorly coded, L4D is dx9c, and Crysis is... well, Crysis :))
