Intel's 965 gaming page listed Far Cry 2 as a compatible game, so I emailed them asking them to take it off, because seriously, that's straight up false advertising.
They sent me a message saying they'd take it down, then a week later, it was still up. So I filed a better business bureau report. Two days later, I get an answer. "Hi Arcane's Name Here - Thank you for your note. We're sorry our product didn't meet your expectations. When the information you cited was first published, we made a mistake when we stated that Far Cry 22 was able to run on a Mobile IntelĀ® 965 Express Chipset Family based system. We are in the process of removing Far Cry 2* game from the list. Thanks for pointing out our error, it has enabled us to improve our documentation. We appreciate you taking time to write. With respect and appreciation, Rick Reed Intel Customer Support" Unfortunately, 30 years from now, I guess I'm gonna be really disappointed when this won't run Far Cry 22, either, but at least they've warned me! (don't even give me anything about "it totally runs if you get it down to 640x480 and pump 30 console commands into it and have an i7" you know Intel doesn't go that far) -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
