At least use Win7 Pro, as the added tools are very valuable. Home
Premium is the absolute minimum, and being able to get Ultimate ed.
would pack everything.

And it was already debated before that Ultimate, Pro and Enterprise
editions can run as fast or faster than Home Premium, as long as the
user knows what he's doing.
