Well I have an Intel GMA 3100(not x3100) it is with the G31
chipset.its called Intel G33/G31 Chipset Family.I was going to
download a modded driver for my chip but when i got to the downloading
page i got confused i didn't find my chip's name so i downloaded the
newest one(the one at the bottom. It was called Windows 7 - V1.1E for
945 Chipsets (Netbook Compatible). Then i uninstalled my normal drivers
from control panel and installed the modded one and i restarted the
PC.after the restart i right clicked on the desktop and didn't find
graphics properties or graphics options. So i went to system32 and
searched for igfx.exe or something like that because thats the GMA's
exe file when i started it a tray icon popped up saying Intel Extreme
Graphics.I know extreme graphics is older than GMA so i ran the system
assessment tool in windows 7.After it finished the Gaming Graphics:3d
business and gaming performance jumped from 3.2 to 3.3 and
Graphics:Desktop Performance For Windows Aero Jumped From 3.3 to
3.6.So i think its bettered my graphics. But the thing thats worrying
me is the Intel extreme graphics tray icon thing.

Did I Install The Thing Right?
Was That Driver Compactable With My GMA Chip?

PLEASE HELP!

I'm really worried
