There is a reason XP 64bits isn't supported by most hardware and software vendors, not to mention it NEVER being used on any serious work environment. XP 64bits is almost as much an aberration as Millennium.
If you want to go back to XP, do so in the only logicl iteration, the legacy XP 32bits. Also, your specs aren't recommended for a 64bits OS.
