the drop may be because of the driver itself is not optimized for that particular hardware, for example the GMA3100... in comparison, most GMA950 hardware will experience increase in performance and quality, also the WEI score went up although it doesnt really mean anything , i rather trust other benchmarking tool...
also the V1.3 which is coming soon will be optimized to almost all mainstream hardware such as the GMA950, GMA3100 and the X3100..so i suggest to wait or use any MD that suits best to ur system..
