bro, about the black screen, u can always try the glorious ctrl-alt-del and
run the task manager from there, after that u can run explorer.exe, that
should load the entire OS, again u can uninstall the update or using system
restore, safe time than a full format....
that's one of the reason i wouldnt trust windows update, except some
compatibility patch and performance patch for older application...
