I had the game pre-loaded, I can get to the menu, but once I start single player and it loads it is a black screen. I am using the software mode on the portal2.exe so far I'd classify this as a no-go unless it was a corrupt installation. It has been confirmed to work on the Intel X4500 series but with a bit of lag.
I plan to re-install it but from what I understand your in a room in the beginning so it could be occlusion, HDR, or something like that. I will also try with the L4D2/Alien Swarm config file and see what happens.
