Hmm, I thought Portal 2's engine was better optimized, well I got 60-100FPS at times on my Radeon HD 3200.
My Shaders and Effects were Medium though, Models and Memory at High, and resolution at 640x480. No AA, 2xAF. Thats my standard Source-Engine setup anyway.
