Agreed. While I do prefer Final Fantasy VII for PSX (or Ultima Edition for PC), VIII has amazing FMVs for its time. I still think that Final Fantasy X has better FMVs than many recent games, and it's a game from 2001, but used the mpeg2 encoder properly :)
