Despite the graphics of those two Nintendo consoles being better (as
they're newer consoles, so it's obvious), they're no Playstation, its
cpu is immensely difficult to emulate, as well as having to keep the
Emotion Engine synced at all times. So yes, PCSX2 can be slower,
specially for people who don't have SSSE3 and above, as well as dx10
support (which actually runs faster than dx9).
