yes this is something that was discussed in the past. And there was a project going at one point where there was a group of people that were using pieces of the farcry engine to make there own "oldblivion style patch" for the crysis games. I havent heard anything about that in a long time now so i dont even know if the project is still going. There was another method that was used to remove pieces of the actual game its self like high end textures which causes the game to not load pieces which will not be used. Cryteks engine can be brutally mangled and still be functional. Always back stuff up before attempting any sort of changes and if you dont know what you are doing then either dont do it or find some one to help a bit. I dont have the game anymore or a computer at the moment so i cant help much. Good thing for mobile browser.
