Just chiming in to say I've noticed this as well and always thought it
was a Qt bug. It was on my personal TODO to look up whether it was
reported and if not, report it. Interesting to hear that Qt Creator
behaves correctly (I hadn't tried it).

I believe (can't quite remember) I've seen similar issues with scroll
bars not adapting fully to runtime changes in the Windows screen
scaling options.
