You can use jom then: https://wiki.qt.io/Jom

Though that should be the default for Qt Creator . Check whether 
https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-build-process-customizing.html#use-jom  is 
enabled.

I’m using nmake. It was the default behaviour of the msvc kit.

Will I need to stick to nmake while using still using qmake?

In intel nmake does since to take advantage of parallel processing. What’s the 
difference on arm?
