The link feature in the registry (that handles UNO .rdb files) was
unused, but had a substantial cost for general registry code. It was
removed, and all the C/C++ functions listed in the summary (which are
all part of the URE stable interface) have been marked as obsolete and
now return REG_INVALID_LINK.
