Could someone add tabs in writer so that a document can be broken up
into sections or chapters. Just like the tabs in Calc.
Also could someone put tab grouping into Calc? When a spreadsheet has
more than about 10 worksheets it becomes harder to deal with all the
tabs that get smaller and then you have to scroll the tabs. Grouping
them would be nice.
Also I would like to see wordprocessing and spreadsheet program combined.
Using the spreadsheet interface with it's worksheets that could be
wordprocessing or spreadsheet. When "New Worksheet" is selected the
next option would be to choose worksheet type. i.e. Spreadsheet type
worksheet or wordprocessing type worksheet.
In fact why not incorporate Impress and an html editor and a pdf editor
as well?
Office Suite integration has been talked about for years, especialy by
Microsoft. Lets see some REAL integration.
Different types of document differ by formatting so why not just use an
integrated document editor?
The default tool bars should be appropriate for the type of worksheet.
Call it X-Word.
Lets make Open Office the best Office Suite there is.
