Hi all
this is probably easy to fix but I cant figure it out myself. I am
trying to get some custom sound files (.aif) into my
/System/Library/Sounds folder and Intermapper 3.7 to play an audible
alert when a machine comes online. Im running MacOSX 10.2.2 btw. I
used Sound Studio to export the AIF file, 16 bit, 44 khz, tried mono
and stereo. Copied the files into the right location using sudo in
the Terminal. Permissions look ok, same as the default System Sounds.
However, when you select the custom sound in the Notifcations ->
Audible alert I get an error - 'Could not complete the last command
because of a MacOS Error, Error -200.
The Sound System Preference pane has no problems playing back the aif
file so I dont think its corrupt. Oh and yes I did need to quit and
restart Intermapper to see the sound file.
Thoughts?
