I'm afraid that I haven't made quite enough noise about a new feature of
InterMapper 3.7. There is a new built-in modem paging notification method. This
gives you the ability to page directly from within the InterMapper application
rather than using an external paging server, such as qpage.

We ported qpage to MacOS X because we needed a solution to the paging problem on
OS X: our old standby PageNOW! had not been ported to MacOS X. qpage is still a
valuable tool if you need a SNPP server for your shop, but it may no longer be
the easiest way to send pages via a modem.
